For many individuals, building a custom home can be the culmination of a life long ambition. We have now been building and renovating homes for over 5 years, and have many more years of experience in business, construction and trades.

 

Lee Loewen, the owner and president of Fox Point Developments completed his Cabinet Making Journeyman program in 2003, and has been working with wood and cabinetry since 1999.  For many years he installed cabinets for various builders, then began managing his own team of cabinet installers and service techs for various builders including Cardel Homes. He has done countless custom built-ins and projects on the side, and has expanded his work to include renovating offices, begun projects in land development, and more recently began his passion of building custom homes.  Through his many years in the construction industry, he has created many business relationships with all trades needed in the home building process.  As a result of these years of experience he has also managed to learn about everything from getting city approvals to adding the final touches to a home.

Lee's wife Tamara Loewen is also an integral part of the building team.  She graduated from the University of Alberta in 2003 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a major in accounting.  Her knowledge and experience with numbers, budgets and organizational skills have become a vital asset in keeping the construction projects accurate and on schedule.  She also has knowledge and experience in design, and has acted as the designer for quite a few of Fox Point Development's projects.
